Miniature mask afro by N-dolls Miniature mask afro by N-dolls
Tiny mask on a wooden surface
The rectangle size: width - 1 " height - 2 "... (2,5 X 5 cm)... A mask approximately 1cm X 1,7 cm.
Wood, painting...
I had desire to make something with an attribute of old time...A scratchs, a dust, a cracks.....:-)

I like this mask more than all the others. What I like the most are all the materials you used in it, very original. All those rough things look so wonderful together. The colour palette is, as usual, great, I love those natural tones of brown.

Thanks for your kind words ... But I do not think this mask good... I look at the my miniatures as my sketches :-)
Colors of sand is my favourite colors ;-) I admit to you, I have clothes only sand colors :-) (but jeans only blue) :-):-)

I'm wishing the photograph was a bit better.....otherwise I'm thinking of Picasso and the influence of African Art upon his work...
by the way..my favorite bit of Picasso's work is the sculpture he made of a goat, out of bits of scrap...

I shall agree with you... A photo not so successful.... That day we did not have support for the camera :-(....
Picasso?... Interesting mental associations... But I did not recollect Picasso when made it :-)

Thank you, Jack : -)
Patience?.... I look at your works and I think of your patience and purposefulness!...
My patience is equivalent to my work.I have constant fluctuation inside myself... Between miniatures and the big works?... Miniatures or the big things..:-)...It is all very interesting for me :-)
